Au revoir Paris, Bonjour Chartres

Our customized bus for the next two weeks. It's being driven by Peter the Dutchman, who chooses to drive the BYU groups because he's so impressed with their behavior, and has done so for decades.

Chartres is always stunning, but especially from a distance.

This confectionery was so gorgeous, and we were lured in by its beauty.  Then when we actually tasted the lovely things from this store, they were disappointing.  Oh well.  We'll remember the sights.

Just some quaint little shops in Chartres

The Cathedral is half way through a renovation project.  Guess which half has been done.

Some of our students peering over a gothic wall.

CQH and EBH delighted in the garden labyrinth, which matches the one on the floor of the cathedral.

  2. We are making another attempt to insert a comment on this site . . . here goes. We are absorbed in the photographs you are taking, particularly the "chateau" - beautiful piece of work.
