How much would it cost to move a department store to Orem?

In Paris, there are several major department stores.  Galleries Lafayette is very chic, very beautiful, and very expensive.  Au Bon Marche is more elegant than chic, more minimalist than beautiful, and even more expensive than GL.  (We should've guessed when we saw you could buy Chanel couture off the rack that it probably wasn't the best place to purchase, say, an umbrella or an adjustable wrench.)

But our favorite, by far, is the BHV (short for Bazar de l'Hotel de Ville).  It's a combination of all the best aspects of Nordstrom, IKEA, Provo Art and Frame, Olive Juice, J Crew, Barnes and Noble, and SuperTarget rolled into one store.  And it's totally without pretension, which means there are very few tourists there.  It's where the locals shop.  And we always manage to find le chose juste whenever we go.

Walking from the Metro stop to BHV, we found a monogrammed bridge.  Quel charmant.

 The entrance to BHV.

EBH shopped until she dropped... literally.

Only moments before I took this photo, a nice lady hopped on to the Metro carriage, bent down, and handed me my wallet.  It had apparently fallen out of my bag onto the carriage floor.  Here we were being super-careful about pickpockets and such, and instead of having my wallet stolen I just let it plop out of an open zippered pocket and onto the floor.  Then some kind soul restores our faith in French humanity.  (I did check to make sure all the cards and cash were still in there, and that no unusual charges have been made on any of the cards.  I so appreciate kindness and honesty in strangers, but it doesn't hurt to check anyway.)
