Like the mythological Cyclops, London only has one "Eye." But it's a beauty, and we rode it.
The keys to a good experience on the London Eye are:
* book in advance
*book an early start time
* don't look down
Don't be fooled by H's seeming nonchalance here. She was far from comfortable being inside a glass bubble twirling hundreds of feet above the city. But, ever the trooper, she came, saw, and conquered the London Eye.
The views are spectacular. We were lucky with the weather, too.
Near the top of our revolution.
This is where H felt the most comfortable--sitting on the bench in the middle of the capsule, as far from the glass walls as possible.
The girls' interest in the spectacular scenery didn't last as long as the ride itself. So they were happy to stumble across an iPad like device intended to enhance the whole experience in some way. Didn't matter what it was. If it's electronic and has a screen that you can touch to start/stop/move things, they're interested!
Getting ready to disembark. E has joy.
And on the Tube ride home, she outlasted her big sister.
