In England, finally

First days in London... getting to know some of the sights that we have since become rather accustomed to:
The Round Pond in Kensington Gardens

A lovely tree in said Gardens

The Albert Memorial.  Vicky must have really loved her Bertie!

 Royal Albert Hall

C and E acquaint themselves with the Peter Pan statue

... and discover some of the many joys of the Princess Diana Memorial Playground.  What a happy place!  And what a lovely way to be memorialized.

  1. I would love to be there with both Howard families. Talk about good company!

  2. Where are you staying? When I was there in 2001 I was with the theater department so we were separate from the other BYU group that stayed in the BYU housing. We lived in a flat right across from Kensington Palace- I think it was where ladies in waiting once lived or something. Anyway, I walked past the Royal Albert Hall and the goldlen Albert statue on my way to class (which was held in the Hyde Park Chapel) every single day. And I spent many afternoons and evenings wandering Kensington Gardens because it was literally across the street. These pictures are beautiful and are bringing back so many memories!
