E strikes a pose at Notting Hill Gate station
Now which one of our kids was it that doesn't like getting their photo taken? And which one will smile for a snap anytime, anywhere? Hmmmm.
A cute little cottage in Hyde Park. I think it used to the Swan Keeper's cottage. Or where they stored the stolen bikes. Or both.
Pelicans in Hyde Park.
A hedge in the shape of a crown. Must be the Diamond Jubilee this year or something.
The guards at Buckingham Palace. I'm not interested in braving the crowds for the Changing of the Guards, so just seeing the guards is as close as we're going to get. So imagine this, with a lot more guards, some military-like shouting, and thousands of tourists, and that must be what the Changing of the Guard is like.

London can certainly put on a grand show for the tourists, without even doing anything. Have you been to "St. Martin's in the Field" and have a meal in the basement?
